Apprentice Henjak out to usurp the Master

While tomorrow night's knockout semifinal between the Brisbane Broncos and St.George Illawarra Dragons promises to be an epic encounter between two in-form sides, it will also be a clash of two coaches - Ivan Henjak and Wayne Bennett.

Once apprentice to Bennett, Brisbane rookie Henjak has now well and truly stepped out of the shadows and in doing so has guided his Broncos side to yet another finals appearance.

Although Brisbane go into Saturday night's match on the back of a dominant performance away to the Titans, their finals record at Suncorp Stadium leaves a lot to be desired. In fact, in six finals played in Brisbane since 1995, the Broncos are yet to win.

However, it is worth-noting that on each of those occasions it was Bennett steering the Brisbane ship!

Despite this it is the Dragons who go into the match as $1.83 favourites, to the $2.16 Broncos.

In tonights match, the Eels are strong $1.47 favourites at home to the Gold Coast Titans ($3.10).
